Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

When I thought of this verse, a revelation came into my mind. This verse reminded me that if you want to receive God's blessings upon your finances, family, health, ministry and all the other needs or wants you hoped for, you must first seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. After you've done that, God promises you in this verse that all these things shall be added to you!

Right now, it's our church arise and build period where many sacrifices will be made to fulfil their pledges, therefore, always keep this verse in mind, Matthew 6:33, because God promised if we seek him first, we will receive his blessings. During this arise and build period, there will be trials and tribulations, you might not be able to give the same amount as others but unequal amount equal sacrifice and God will always look out for us be it in our finances or studies, so W320-ians, lets ARISE AND BUILD GOD A HOUSE!

Serving Wholeheartedly

Elvis: Serving Wholeheartedly

Serve wholeheartedly as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.
Ephesians 6:7-8(NIV)

In our lives, we are expected to serve but not to be served. Jesus the Son of God came to serve but not to be served by the multitudes. So, we should be more like Jesus!

Serving comes in many ways. By doing the chores your family ask you to help with, you are already serving your family! But as you do the chores, you should do it as if you are serving God! Do it with all your hearts but no with a sulky face. It also applies in your cell group. Whenever you are given a task to do, don't sulk and complain while doing it. Instead do it with a cheerful and willingness to serve attitude because God will reward you accordingly based on how you do the task. Given the right opportunity and the right time, God will rise you up as you serve faithfully and humbly! So, you should start to serve wholeheartedly as if you are serving the Lord, not men!

God will see your effort and He will reward you accordingly, whether you are serving your families, your cell groups or even in your workplace! AMEN!

Trust towards God

Jin Seng: Trust towards God

A lot of Christians do not trust God because they do not have faith in God.
For example, building fund.
Most of us give all our best to God,
but some Christians feel that
if they give their money to God,
will God really bless them back?
The answer is YES!
However, some still don't trust God.
God always use His staff to lead us the way
but the point is,
do you want to follow God?
The bible says that "with God all things are possible."
From now, I encourage all of you to trust in God more. =)

Loving People

John 3:16

" For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. "

God do not only love people who believed in Him, but God too loved the world. He loves everyone the same, and this is why He gave His only begotten son for the world, and not only for believers.

Matthew 22:39

" And the second is like it: ' You shall love your neighbour as yourself. ' "

The first commandment is to love God wholeheartedly, and the second is to love people around you the same as you love yourself.

As a christian, why is it so important to love people?

1) Because it is the character of Jesus. (We represent God)

At the start when we accept Christ, when we receive the Holy Spirit, Jesus lives in us.

And the lost in the world, they build their impressions of Jesus by looking at christians around them, and this is why it is important to love people, because we represent Jesus, and Jesus loves them.

2) Because the lost needs Jesus.

1 corinthians 13:13

" And now abide faith, hope, love, these three ; but the greatest if these is love."

Everyone needs love, no one will reject love. And the world needs God's love, because the love of God is neither an embracing love, nor a pampering love, never a biased love, but God's love is an unconditional perfect love.

3) Because we are to be a blessing to the world.

When we love people, when we accept them, we are spreading God's love into their heart. Who will don't want someone to love them truly?

Many people love because they themselves can gain benefits. And this is not true love. When we truly love someone, we love him/her without expecting he/she to love us back. We bless the people around us by loving them, by cherishing them, by letting them know that they are worthy, that Jesus loves them with an unconditional love.

When we love people, we should never do selective loving. We should love everyone the same, because God loves everyone the same, and everyone deserves the same amount of love.

SO, LETS LOVE PEOPLE MORE!

Bringing People to Christ

Why is it so important to bring unbelievers/our school classmates to Christ?

God created us in His own image and He loves everyone.
Whether you are a believer or not,
He say that when one is saved into the kingdom of God, angels over heaven rejoices and celebrates,
and when one sheep is lost, God will look for it no matter what.
Here is a story of the lost sheep :

Luke 15: 4-7
What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?
And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!'
I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who needs no repentance.

Let's all do our best to reach out to all our friends that have not heard the gospel out there! :)

Joshua: 'Have FAITH in God!'

What is Faith?
Hebrews 11: 1 (NKJV) - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Why do we need Faith?
Hebrews 11: 6 (NKJV) - But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Here are the 4 points of Faith
1. Faith is our connection with God
2. Faith changes the negatives in our life
3. Faith will frame your future
4. Faith is an action

There are a few ways that we are able to grow our Faith in God
1. Must have 100% trust in God which means 0% doubt
2. Read the word of God daily (Bible)
3. Speak in tongues more
4. Do your quiet time daily
5. Believe all things are possible

I believe that as a new generation, we must have complete Faith in God in order to do greater works in the Kingdom of God and we must be bold to step out of our comfort zone.

Being a leader

Seow Ting: 'We need to be a leader as a new generation'.

We've got to be the influential in the marketplace. It is only when we are influential, then people will follow us, and then we can have a better chance in spreading the gospel to them.

Being a new generation, we should learn how to be a leader, so that in future we are able to make disciples. Jesus said that all of us will go out there to the world and make disciples. If we are not leaders, and we do not know how to lead people, then how are we going to make disciples?

In each of our world, whether is it in school or at work, we should all be the one that people will ask opinions from, that people will look for, that our presence is something that matters. We should not be the one that is following others, doing what other people do, but we should always be the one that is leading, doing the right thing despite others doing the wrong thing. We need to be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. Not only in our studies or our work achievements, but in every area of our life, in our character, our attitude, our love and concern towards others, our selflessness, we need to be someone that resembles Jesus.

Invite more friends

Melvin: 'Invite more friends'

How to invite friends and turn them into member:

1st we try our best to invite them personally to come for cell group and tell them what is going to happen during the cell group and after cell group. And get to know what their hobbies are.

2nd if the friends come for the cell group. Let’s welcome them and let them feel comfortable. And to let them know the purposes of the cell group and let them feel it.

3rd we should plan outing with friends that may have a connection with his/her hobbies so as to get to know them better and to spread the word of the gospel even when is not during church activities.

4th once they are comfortable with us we can ask them to attend other activities like service or prayer meeting.

Tithing and offering

The reason why we need to tithe is to build God a great kingdom so God can use it .
You can start saving money every week or every month to tithe for God .
You can forgo meals to save up money to tithe for God .

Just give 10% of your savings to God weekly or monthly .
Prosper the Lord so that the Lord can prosper you .

Your money is given by God so God just wants the 10% back to build a great kingdom .

Tithe and God will multiply the amount of money by many times of it and give to you .

Spiritually Strong

Ziyang: 'Spiritually Strong '

We have to spiritually strong in new generation, as being the new generation we must have greater capacity. Thus being spiritually strong strengthens our capacity.

What i meant having a great capacity in the new generation there are many friends we would have to meet their needs and love them, being spiritually strong allows one to be familiar with the bible we can counsel the friends helping them solve their problems.

Spiritually strong also lets you stay in the glory of god constantly being encouraged by verses and bible. We should always grow our inner man to be stronger each day.

By strengthing ourselves being spiritually strong helps us to build a great kingdom of God.
As Matthew 13:31 says, Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field,

Spiritually strong allows us to sowed our mustard seed into our lifes.
As Matthew 17:20 says, So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

As the Seed in our lifes we attains the Faith.

To be able to strengthen our man inside us.

1) We must have our quiet time as a start a 15mins is advised.

2) Daily prayers and thanks giving to God.

3) Be ready and serve in the house of God anytime

Let’s all stay strong spiritually.

Taking Discipleship

As a chosen generation discipleship is of the utmost importance.
To learn and teach is what Jesus commanded us before ascending into heaven.
He said to make disciple of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

For one example is to serve well in the church.
First you need to learn how each and everything is done, and to do that you have to be taught by someone more experienced then you.

Other then that but you might get to be put as a teacher or leader to some new member that join the cell group or the ministry that you have join and you have to help them grow.

So thus it is important. Well disciple is not only for church but society.
To do well in the society today is to become influential, other then doing well in society we want to be shining for Jesus there thus be able to influence people is one thing that the chosen generation want more then anything. Be a light in the marketplace.

Be it in society or in church discipleship is nevertheless one of the most inessential attribute of a chosen one.

Love completely

Jonathan: 'Love Completely'

What does it means to love completely? It means to love God and everyone around you. Loving completely means no selective loving but loving everyone wholeheartly.
Why is it important to love?
It is one of the greatest commandments from God, for Matthew 22:37 says 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind’ and Matthew 22:39 says 'Love your neighbor as yourself’

How do we Love Completely?
First we have to know what exactly Love is.
Values and Character of Love
1) Love is Scarifice (1 Corinthians 13:4)
2) There is no “I” in Love, Love is patient. Love is Respect (1 Corinthians 13:5)
3) Love persevere at all cause (1 Corinthians 13:7)
4) Love is an action (1 John 3:18)

Loving is never easy, but it is the greatest of all (1 Corinthians 13:13). Therefore it is important as the chosen generation we should love completely!
LOVE is a DECISION to show SCARIFICE through ACTIONS!

We discussed some points what the new generation should do.

‘Action speaks louder than words'

I believe most people have heard this before.
Why action speaks louder than words?

Because usually people knew how to say certain things but they never do it.

For example, when it comes to serving God, many people say “I want to serve God; I want to do this and that for God”. We can speak about it but our actions must show it out as well to really mean we want to serve God.

Another example is...

If you want to do well in your exams everyone can say that but they do not study hard,

You can’t just stare at your own textbook and daydream that you score A’s. You got to do something like reading it, understanding it in order to score well in your exams! We should also pray to God. With prayer and works(actions) surely you will score well.

Matthew 8:26 says,
But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

This verse is saying that you got to have faith and act out and not just by speaking.It says “then he arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. God didn’t just look at the situation and not doing anything, instead, God solve it by rebuking the winds and the sea and everything became calm.

Let’s all remember that ' actions speak louder than words! '. :D

Time

Hey guys its Joshua’s turn to share his revelation to you and he will be talking about Time!

People normally use phrases like: “Time is precious”, “Don’t waste my time lah”, “Time is money”, “I wish I can go back in time” etc. All these phrases show the importance of time and that’s what I will be sharing to all of you.

I got this revelation through my daily routine of going to school by bus as I noticed that if I miss the bus for just a minute, I have to wait a long time for the other which shows that even a minute difference might determine whether you are late or early., that is why time management comes in very important in your life. Now let us turn to Genesis 1. If you read this chapter you can see that God created the world in 7 days and it also shows that God manages time well and in Genesis 1:26 says “ Then God said, Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness.” This shows that we are also able to manage our time well too.

Amber has always mention about punctuality in cell group but there will always be people coming in late, if people who are unable to do just a simple task of reaching on time for cell group or services it shows that the way they manage their time needs improvement or it just shows that the person is irresponsible.

Although in life, there are many things you have to do, but you must have a balance and be able to set your priorities right. Time is really important and every second counts, therefore, always remember to manage your time well! I really pray that you can manage your time well after reading this. Jesus loves you and Joshua loves you too! =)

Passion

Passion

I was kind of blew off by the word ‘passion’. It is really a powerful substance that could really change the things around you, change the world. During this few weeks God spoke to me much about passion, in my workplace as well as in church!

Let me just briefly share..

My boss used to study engineering, and during his attachment days, he realised that this is not he want to major in. He discovered that he loves to interact with people and understand people. Slowly he began to find passion in talking to people. Though he started studying engineering, but after he graduated, he actually took up courses to train himself of what is required in an insurance line, such as speaking well and being thick skin. His annual income used to be ‘$3000’. It might sound ridiculous but this is what he went through. Can you imagine a month of 2 to 300 bucks? He started out with nothing but passion in this career. His passion gave him the determination to persevere and till today he became the director whose pay is surely more than a $6000. At the age of 32, he already owns 2 property and working on a third one. *Faint*

Another example that God gave me was that my friend is a dancer, and he hurt his back badly. Because of his passion for dance, he still went for the many practice. No matter how bad it hurts or what it takes, he still went on.

Passion, It causes a person to strive hard without anyone telling them to.

I was thinking.. If christians have such passion.. Things would be unimaginable because it is only passion that could drive a person to do his very best to achieve his or her success.

Revival will surely come. You will see disciples of God, sons of God, serving God without complaints, with love. People laying down their lives, no matter how hurting it is gonna to be, they will still persevere and run the relay for God. People will do things in a selfless manner. People will take care of the lost. Many will achieve their destiny in God.

I believe we can always start with NOTHING, as long as we have passion. Because passion is the factor that gives you the strength to move on, gives you courage to find solutions to your problems met, even at times when you fail or when you fall down, it is the passion that you have that gives you the persistence and move on. if we all have the passion for revival, passion for God, for Christ, then, even in the outreaches that we have, will be total different 360 degree because it is the body of Christ working together for the kingdom of God. When i saw how Tai Wan is reaching out, i could really sense the fiery passion the people had for Christ. They were all so on fire. The work produced from someone who has passion is different level of standard and excellence, because everyone gives their best. Passion is gives you the happiness and satisfaction. People succeed in Olympics, got champion, is not solely because of pure practice, it is because 他们热爱 whatever they are doing。

Passion for God, Passion for Christ.

I was really amazed and more encouraged to continue to serve God and serve people.

Hey everyone! Jonathan here... I am so happy that I am given the chance to post my revelations first on w320 blog! Thanks Amber! Here is the revelation I am going to share with my dearest w320 members for this week. Ok, here it goes...

I got this revelation on Monday! It’s about Creativity! Got this revelation during the Leader’s Meeting and part of it from Amber.

What is Creativity? Creativity is a mental process involving the generation of new ideas or concepts, or new associations of the creative mind between existing ideas or concepts. It simply means the act of making something new.

Our God, Is a creative God. Look at the world he have created today, all the things he created shows his creativity. We are also creative beings too like our God as Genesis 1:26 says “ Then God said, Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness.”

Genesis 2:19
Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.

From Genesis 2:19 we can see that Adam is able to name every animal on Earth, this shows that God have made him Creative enough to give different names to the animals.

So guys! I have just proved that God have made all of us creative, we just have to have the faith and step out to express our creativity! It may be difficult to express it the first few times, but as long as you are willing to believe and keep on trying, you will improve in Jesus Name! Please use your hidden creativity for good of the cell group! All the best everyone! Jesus Love you and I Love you too!
